How to measure yourself

OVERVIEW

Wedding gown designers each have unique measurement size charts and they are not the same when compared to each other or especially when comparing to street clothes sizes. Most run smaller than street clothes so do not be alarmed if you fall into a larger size than you are accustomed.

You will need to take your measurements and compare them to the measurements on each gown. Not every designer uses the same size chart, so for example a size 10 Maggie Sottero won’t fit the same as a size 10 Georgia Sanderson dress.

Gowns are not custom made to your provided measurements. Most brides will find their dress will require some alteration to get a couture fit. So please do not be surprised when it isn’t an exact fit out of the box.

All the measurements on our website are in inches.
