I am 9 months pregnant and thought I was going to just have a look and then buy something after baby was born. I went to The Bridal Outlet in Albany with my bridesmaid, who picked a few dresses and the first one was perfect, even managed to get into it with bump to get an idea. Will fit perfectly once baby has arrived and bump is down a bit. Amazing service, the ladies; Liz and Cassandra, were so helpful! I would definitely recommend going here for your first port of call! So happy!

The difference in customer service here with other, more expensive salons was night and day. This was the first place I went to try on gowns, and it was definitely the best!! Staff were patient and caring, letting indecisive brides (i.e me :P ) try on as many dresses as they like without complaint. They understand how important it is to find the right dress, and bring a lot of know-how to the table to make that happen!

Manager Suzie is a great example of this. She's an absolute sweetheart who brings all her skills from designing wedding gowns to help you out. Not sure how a dress would look after alterations? Unsure about what to look for in a dress? Suzie will look after you ;)

Had the best experience here - came in late in the afternoon (only an hour until they closed), I was tired from a whole day of trying on dresses and grumpy from not finding anything.
From the moment I walked in, Liz treated me like I was the only one in the shop. She asked about me - wanted to know my likes/dislikes, where my venue was, etc. and she actually listened to me! Even if she didn't think I would suit a dress she helped me try it on anyway so that I could make up my mind. She was also great at taking away the 'overwhelmingness' of it all.
She kept things simple, while making sure I tried on everything I wanted to. She even helped me in and out of a dress 6 times as I compared it to other dresses!
Nothing was too much for her and she seemed to genuinely want to help me find the perfect dress.
There was a great range of styles, colours and fabrics and the staff are super helpful, friendly and caring.
I would highly recommend this place and Liz!

I popped into the Albany store this afternoon - it was my first foray into looking at dresses and my sister and I had just anticipated looking at some dresses to get an idea of a style and colour that would suit me. I didn't have a particular style or look in mind so was really just thinking of having a casual browse! Especially since I had really wanted my Mum to be with my sister and me to share a special shopping experience and she wasn't able to come today unfortunately. The minute we walked into the Albany store, we were warmly greeted by the amazing Liz and felt instantly at ease. Liz helped me pick some different styles to try on and was so kind and lovely and patient. I ended up with two incredible dresses that I was having trouble deciding between and Liz let me go back and forth for quite a while trying both on several times until I finally made my choice. I was able to spend quite a bit of time in both dresses talking them over with my sister and we were also allowed to take some photos to send to my Mum for her opinion too, which was great. Liz's knowledge and experience was invaluable in helping me to decide as she had lots of advice and clever suggestions about how to make the dresses perfect. My sister and I had a lovely afternoon in the shop so I wanted to thank Liz for being there to help turn a potentially overwhelming choice into a lovely, stress-free, and special experience for us. I can't wait to bring my Mum back to see the dress and choose accessories �� #isaidyestothedress

I came in this afternoon with my best friend looking for my wedding dress, Liz was at the onehunga shop and all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart, she not only made me feel comfortable when I was feeling anxious she helped me make my decision really easy. Not only is my dress perfect but my whole experience was amazing. Thank you Liz you really made my day
